How Much Does It Cost to Decorate a Birthday Party in Lusaka?

Starting prices at Halo

• Balloon garland or arch for a birthday or baby shower, no backdrop: from K3,500.
• Balloon arches: from K4,500 (for example the pink and rose gold entrance arch).
• Branded event backdrop with balloons: K10,000.

These are starting prices. We confirm the final price after you share your date, venue and colours.

What affects the price

• Size. A small garland costs less than a full arch that frames a table or entrance.
• Venue. A home near our base is simpler than a hall that needs a long set-up or travel.
• Backdrop. Adding a printed or themed backdrop raises the cost.
• Colours and extras. Chrome balloons, number balloons, flowers and signs add to the price.
• Date. Busy weekends and December fill early.

How to keep within budget

Choose one focus area, such as the cake table or the photo wall, and spend there. Pick two or three colours instead of many. Book early so you are not paying for a rushed set-up, and tell us your budget up front so we can suggest what fits.

Add the cake and gifts

Many parents add a cake at K900 (6 inch) or K1,300 (character cake), or send a gift hamper to the birthday child. See the cakes in our shop and order ahead, because cakes are perishable.

How to get a quote

Send us the date, venue, guest count, theme and colours by WhatsApp or the quote form. A quote is valid for 14 days and a 70% deposit confirms event bookings.
